Summary
This case study details the migration initiative undertaken by Millennium Trust Company to transition the on-premises infrastructure of their recently acquired company, Payflex, to an Azure environment. The primary objective was to modernize the infrastructure to improve scalability and availability while ensuring seamless integration into the Azure ecosystem. The migration strategy included transferring both Production and Non-Production workloads to Azure, with a focus on enabling Disaster Recovery to maintain the resilience of critical systems. Additionally, the Azure Virtual Desktop environment was rebuilt to optimize scalability for future acquisitions. A dedicated Managed Services team was established to support the ongoing operation of over 400 virtual machines.
