This research study investigates the impact of the Reading Eggspress program on Year 3 students' performance in the NAPLAN reading assessments. The study reveals a statistically significant correlation between the use of Reading Eggspress and improved reading scores, with schools utilizing the program achieving an average score of 418.9 compared to 395.7 for non-users. The analysis indicates that higher engagement levels, measured by lesson completion rates, are associated with better performance outcomes. Specifically, students in high-performing schools completed between 5.2 and 6.6 lessons on average, while those in lower-performing schools completed between 3.4 and 4.5 lessons. The study employs rigorous statistical techniques, including stratified sampling and bootstrapping, to ensure the reliability of the findings. The results support the conclusion that consistent engagement with Reading Eggspress significantly enhances reading proficiency among students, highlighting the importance of structured instructional methods in literacy education.
