Third Grade Reading Gains with 95 Phonics Core Program

This research article examines the effectiveness of the 95 Phonics Core Program on improving reading skills among third graders, particularly focusing on English Language Learners (ELL) and Special Education (SPED) students. Utilizing iReady assessment data from four elementary schools in San Antonio, Texas, the study analyzes phonics and overall reading score gains throughout the 2022-2023 academic year, revealing significant improvements in literacy achievement for students starting below grad
