This case study details the implementation of Cisco IP Fabric for Media at Gillette Stadium, a project undertaken by The Kraft Group in partnership with Acadia Technology Group and Cisco. The objective was to transition from traditional SDI infrastructure to a flexible IP-based system capable of supporting high-quality media formats such as 4K and 8K. The solution aimed to enhance the spectator experience while future-proofing the stadium's media capabilities. Key features of the implementation included support for uncompressed video, flexible scalability to accommodate large events, and streamlined management through Cisco's NDFC Network Controller. The results of this transformation included improved operational efficiency, enhanced fan engagement through high-definition real-time entertainment, and the ability to integrate diverse technologies for future advancements. This project exemplifies how innovative technology can redefine the spectator experience in sports venues.
