This case study details the implementation of a multichannel pricing system by VILAVI, a leading independent insurance broker in France. Faced with performance issues and high maintenance costs from their existing in-house pricing system, VILAVI sought a new rules-based solution to meet the demands of a rapidly digitizing market. The implementation utilized the ACTICO Decision Management Platform to automate pricing processes and ensure seamless integration across various distribution channels. The new system enhances collaboration between IT and business units, reduces maintenance costs, and improves scalability and performance. It allows for agile adjustments to pricing policies, meeting evolving market conditions and compliance requirements. The study outlines the project's objectives, challenges, and the criteria established to select the appropriate technology. Furthermore, it highlights the user-friendliness of the ACTICO platform, which enables non-IT staff to manage pricing models effectively. VILAVI's investment has positioned them to respond quickly to market changes and maintain their competitive edge.
