This case study details the transformation of Trace Minerals as it transitioned from relying on legacy systems to implementing an in-house manufacturing process. The company previously utilized Microsoft Great Plains and various siloed applications, which led to inefficiencies and increased costs. To address these challenges, Trace Minerals acquired its liquid supplier and deployed Acumatica Manufacturing ERP alongside eWorkplace Apps' Quality Management System. This integration enhanced visibility and traceability across operations, eliminated paper processes, and streamlined workflows. The new system supports both powder and liquid formulas, automates manual tasks, and improves inventory management. Additionally, it provides comprehensive quality control measures, including the generation of Certificates of Analysis and tracking of non-conformances. The deployment of these systems has resulted in significant improvements in operational efficiency, reduced manufacturing errors, and better cost control, ultimately supporting the company's growth objectives.
