This case study details the integration of systems following the merger of two major airlines, focusing on the transition from a manual maintenance process to a real-time, technology-driven solution. The objective was to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The implementation of Adaptive Integration Fabric enabled the airline to unify maintenance and service records, allowing aviation mechanics to access data via hand-held tablets rather than relying on cumbersome paper manuals. The study outlines the challenges faced during this transition, including the need to train over 8,000 maintenance professionals and the complexities of enabling mobile access to mainframe systems. Results indicated significant improvements in technical performance, team functionality, and operational coordination across various divisions.
