Case Study on DEVK Versicherungen's Policy Migration

This case study details the project undertaken by DEVK Versicherungen to migrate 400,000 travel health insurance contracts to the in|sure Health Policy and in|sure Health Claims applications. The project faced significant challenges, including a reduced timeline for completion, which was moved up by six months due to a parallel project. The project team, consisting of DEVK and adesso insurance solutions, focused on maintaining standard functionalities to minimize implementation efforts. The migration process began in May 2019, following a Delta analysis completed in 2018 that identified potential issues and solution patterns. Testing of the in|sure products commenced in March 2019, and the project culminated in a successful go-live on January 20, 2020.
