This case study outlines the collaboration between Aditi and a leading nuclear power provider to develop a digital preventative maintenance system. The primary objective was to create an initiative that scrutinizes critical reactor components, such as pipes, to proactively determine the optimal timing for repairs or replacements. The Aditi team, consisting of various specialists, engaged with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, which led to the creation of user stories and development trajectories. They implemented an Agile software development approach, which included the evaluation of dummy data for the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and the integration of algorithms by data scientists to predict potential points of failure. The solution was hosted on the Azure cloud platform, ensuring scalability and efficient data storage. Ultimately, the initiative significantly reduced reactor downtime, thereby saving costs associated with out-of-service scenarios, which were valued at $1 million per minute.
