Endpoint Privilege Management Implementation at Nutreco

This case study details Nutreco's implementation of an Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) solution to manage local admin rights across their organization. Faced with the challenge of balancing security and productivity, Nutreco identified the need for a flexible solution that could cater to various user groups. The pilot program involved testing configurations and conducting an awareness campaign to inform users about the new system, Admin By Request. The initial deployment allowed for the collection of usage insights before revoking admin rights. Following the revocation, configurations were applied to ensure appropriate access levels for different user groups. The impact of this initiative has been significant, enhancing Nutreco's security posture while maintaining operational requirements. Feedback from IT colleagues has been positive, although the implementation required careful Organizational Change Management to address user resistance. Nutreco plans to extend the implementation of Admin By Request across all endpoints to sustain high security standards and user productivity.
