Value-add Solution for Immunoassay Diagnostic Systems

This case study presents a value-add solution developed for an immunoassay diagnostic system, focusing on the challenges faced by the customer in finding an appropriate power supply. The requirements included supporting various DC voltages and a maximum power of 4200W, with the ability to operate off a single-phase AC input. The power supply also needed to incorporate AC outlets, breakers, and protection features for over-temperature, over-current, over-voltage, and under-voltage conditions. Advanced Energy's team provided support during the RFQ stage, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and quick turnaround of samples. The solution utilized standard configurable products, the Artesyn iVS3 and iMP4, enclosed in a custom chassis. Key features included multiple DC outputs, intelligent control and monitoring capabilities, and compliance with RoHS standards. The collaboration between the customer and Advanced Energy facilitated efficient communication and resolution of issues, leading to the successful implementation of the solution.
