This technical overview presents a comparative analysis of the energy consumption of the Agilent 1260 Infinity III Prime LC System and the Waters Alliance iS HPLC System. The assessment focuses on the energy use during various operational states: Idle, Ready, and Run. Measurements were conducted using specific instrumentation to ensure accuracy under typical laboratory conditions. The results indicate that the Agilent system consumes less energy across all operational states compared to the Waters system. In particular, the Agilent system's energy consumption during the Run state is lower than in the Ready state, a contrast to the Waters system, which shows consistent energy use in both states.
