This case study outlines the operational transformation of a global electronics manufacturer utilizing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The document begins by detailing the initial situation where the company operated on a fixed, resource-based support model, which led to inefficiencies and a reactive incident response. A significant failure in the JD Edwards system prompted a reevaluation of this model. Allari intervened by implementing a build-run separation, taking operational ownership of the run layer, and introducing consumption-based pricing through OpenBook®, allowing for transparent billing based on actual work performed. The results after the first year were significant, showing a 19% reduction in support costs, a 72% decrease in average ticket closure time, and an increase in resolution quality, with all tickets resolved without reopening. The methodology used is documented and available for client review, emphasizing transparency and accountability in the partnership.
