This case study details the network upgrade project at Hotel Juliani, which aimed to enhance the digital guest experience through improved Wi-Fi connectivity. The hotel, located in St. Julian’s, Malta, faced challenges with its previous network technology, which resulted in a high volume of technical support tickets due to poor Wi-Fi performance. In collaboration with Ibis Group and Cambium Networks, the hotel implemented a new network infrastructure featuring 83 access points to provide seamless internet access across various areas, including guest rooms and common spaces. The upgrade has led to a significant reduction in Wi-Fi complaints and support tickets, demonstrating the effectiveness of the new system. The integration of Cambium Networks' technology has ensured robust and secure connectivity for both guests and staff, enhancing overall customer satisfaction. The case study emphasizes the importance of reliable digital services in the hospitality industry and how targeted technological solutions can address specific operational challenges.
