Blockchain-Based Energy Marketplace Development

This document is a technical report detailing the Blockchain DER project initiated by Celsia in collaboration with Colciencias. The project aims to develop an innovative software solution to transform the retail energy market, particularly for small-scale self-generators in Colombia. It outlines the project's objective to streamline energy trading, creating a secure environment for consumers and generators to engage in the purchase and sale of clean energy. The report describes the use of blockchain technology to facilitate peer-to-peer energy transactions, ensuring efficient and transparent operations. Key components of the project include Hyperledger Fabric, Cosmos DB, and Azure Kubernetes Service, which support the platform's microservices architecture.
