This technical report presents the clinical pathology reference data for Philippine-origin cynomolgus monkeys (CM) relevant to preclinical toxicology studies. The objective is to investigate selected hematology, serum biochemistry, coagulation, and urine parameters for these monkeys and compare the results to established reference data from Mauritius, Chinese, and Cambodian-origin CMs. Data was collected from 40 naïve Philippine-origin CMs, with assessments including blood tests and urine analysis. The report details the methodology for data collection, including compliance with the Animal Welfare Act and various health screenings. Results indicate that standard hematology and serum biochemistry parameters for Philippine-origin CMs are generally comparable to those of other origins, with some noted differences. The findings support the use of Philippine-origin CMs in preclinical assessments, emphasizing their value as an alternative source for toxicology studies. This assessment is significant as it provides the first robust reference data for this specific origin, which is underutilized in research.
