This case study details the implementation of the SYSPRO Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution at B&R Enclosures, a leading Australian manufacturer specializing in electrical enclosures. Founded in 1955, the company aimed to modernize its outdated ERP system to facilitate international expansion and improve operational efficiency. The selection process for the new ERP solution began in 2012, with B&R evaluating multiple vendors, ultimately choosing SYSPRO for its flexibility and support. The implementation went live in January 2014, achieving full integration of financial, manufacturing, and distribution modules. This integration provided real-time visibility of data across the organization and significantly reduced month-end reporting times. Furthermore, the new system enhanced customer experience by automating order acknowledgments and dispatch notifications. B&R has plans to expand further into international markets, leveraging SYSPRO’s capabilities in managing complex manufacturing and supply chain processes. Employee training was also prioritized to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
