This technical report summarizes the evaluation findings of the Educator Workforce Investment Grant in Computer Science (EWIG: CS) program, which was initiated by the state of California to enhance the capacity of educators in delivering computer science education. The report outlines key findings from the evaluation activities conducted by the American Institutes for Research (AIR) between 2023 and 2026. It details the participation of 1,394 educators in the Summer of CS workshops, highlighting their positive experiences and increased confidence in teaching computer science. The report also discusses the role of CS Champions in promoting professional learning and the integration of computer science into other subject areas. Additionally, it addresses the challenges faced in expanding access to computer science education, particularly for underrepresented groups, and emphasizes the need for continued support and funding to sustain the progress made through the EWIG: CS initiative. The findings indicate that while significant strides were made, further efforts are necessary to ensure lasting impact in computer science education.
