This technical report presents a study that investigates the predictability of Istation’s Indicators of Progress (ISIP) Reading and ISIP Math assessments in relation to the ACT Aspire assessments for second and third grade students in Arkansas. The study utilizes multinomial logistic regression to analyze data collected from students during the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years. The findings indicate that second graders with ISIP Reading scores at or above the 75th percentile and third graders at the 65th percentile have a high likelihood of achieving the Ready performance level on the ACT Aspire Reading assessment. Similarly, for math, second graders at the 45th percentile and third graders at the 40th percentile also show a strong probability of reaching the Ready level. The report includes demographic details of the sample population and outlines the methodology used for data analysis, emphasizing the importance of ISIP assessments in predicting student success on state assessments.
