This technical report presents the proficiency projection of Istation Reading Formative Assessment on the Oklahoma School Testing Program English Language Arts assessments for grades 3 through 8. The study analyzes data collected from three school districts in Oklahoma during the 2021–2022 academic year. The report details the Pearson product-moment correlations between Istation Reading scores and OSTP ELA scores, which range from 0.68 to 0.82, indicating strong associations. It outlines the methodology used for the linking study, which includes multinomial logistic regression to classify students' probabilities of meeting performance levels on the OSTP ELA. The report provides specific percentile ranks that students must achieve on Istation Reading to attain high probabilities of meeting various OSTP ELA performance levels. Additionally, classification accuracy analyses reveal that Istation Reading accurately predicts meeting Basic Proficiency on the OSTP ELA assessment approximately 81% of the time at middle-of-the-year and about 80% at end-of-the-year assessments.
