Determination of Toxic Elements in Industrial Effluents

This case study details a method for the determination of toxic metals (Cd, Pb, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cr) in industrial effluents using the novAA® 800 F flame AAS. It highlights the importance of water recycling and monitoring for environmental safety, and discusses calibration, sample preparation, and instrument settings. The findings demonstrate the method's robustness and compliance with German drinking water directives, ensuring safe water supply.
