This case study details the collaboration between Anthology and Marshall University to address declining enrollment yields. Marshall University, a public institution in West Virginia, faced a significant drop in its admit-to-enroll yield, which fell to 27% in 2022. This decline was attributed to various factors, including internal staff turnover and inconsistent communication processes. In 2023, Anthology's Enrollment Management service was engaged to provide strategic consultancy aimed at improving outreach and reversing the yield decline. A two-pronged approach was implemented, focusing on multi-modal engagement campaigns to reach admitted students and personal outreach from enrollment coaches. These initiatives were designed to enhance the enrollment experience and support students through the process. The results were notable, with an increase in yield for freshmen students to 33% in 2023 and a total of 212 additional freshmen enrollments, exceeding the institution's growth goals. The partnership aims to continue supporting student retention and completion outcomes.
