Simulation Model for COVID-19 Vaccine Logistics

This research article presents an extended Susceptible-Infected-Healed (SIR) model using System Dynamics to assess the COVID-19 pandemic. The study evaluates vaccine logistics and predicts the time required to achieve 70% herd immunity in Turkey under different vaccine supply scenarios. Results indicate significant variations in the time to reach herd immunity based on vaccine availability, highlighting the importance of effective vaccination strategies in managing the pandemic.
