This report presents the findings from a pulse survey conducted by Aon's Professional Services Practice, focusing on key human capital topics and trends affecting U.S. law firms in Q2 2024. The survey aimed to gather insights on how large law firms are addressing various human capital issues, including leadership perspectives on benefits, the effectiveness of point solutions, wellbeing initiatives, lifestyle benefits, and plan governance. Participants included 'Am Law 200' firms and international firms with revenues within the same range. The results indicate that law firms are adapting to economic, political, and regulatory changes by strategically limiting investments, prioritizing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives, fostering a culture of wellbeing, and reviewing governance processes. These trends are expected to persist through 2024 as law firm leaders remain agile in response to significant events such as court decisions and global conflicts.
