This case study outlines the challenges faced by Meyer Music, Michigan's largest music service organization, regarding their outsourced marketing and promotional materials. The organization previously relied on external vendors for brochures, direct mail materials, and instrument identifying tags, which led to high costs and excess unused inventory. To address these issues, Meyer Music sought an in-house solution to gain better control over their printing processes and reduce expenses. Applied Imaging was chosen to provide a multifunction printer (MFP) that enabled Meyer Music to print their own materials, including custom-sized serial tags for instruments. The implementation of this solution resulted in significant cost savings, improved control over print quantities, and the ability to quickly respond to promotional needs without third-party involvement. Additionally, flexible payment plans were established to align with seasonal printing demands, further enhancing operational efficiency.
