Public Health Agency Mobile Application Testing Case Study

This case study details the testing regime implemented by a European public health agency for its Covid Visitor Tracking mobile application. Faced with the challenge of rapidly changing testing requirements due to the evolving nature of the COVID pandemic, the agency needed a solution that could ensure comprehensive testing without slowing down the daily release cycle. The agency adopted Appvance IQ, an AI-driven testing solution, which enabled the rapid development of over 800 unique tests within two days, significantly increasing the testing capacity. Following further machine learning, the number of unique tests rose to over 3,000. The case study outlines the importance of automated testing in maintaining high quality and efficiency in mobile application development. It highlights the agency's shift towards a fast-paced development environment, where thorough testing is critical for user adoption and public reception. The results included a 99% reduction in manual labor and a 185X increase in the number of tests conducted per application, demonstrating the effectiveness of the implemented solution.
