This case study outlines Berlingske Media's strategic approach to managing the transition from traditional print media to a more digital-centric model. Founded in 1749, Berlingske Media is the largest news media group in Denmark, facing challenges such as maintaining print profitability while adapting to digital demands. The organization implemented cloud-based solutions from Aria Systems and Dimaps to enhance its billing, subscription management, and logistics. The initial phase involved deploying Dimaps Orchestra to streamline logistics, followed by the implementation of the Aria Billing and Monetization Platform and the Aria Media and Publishing Suite. These solutions replaced the legacy ERP system and facilitated the management of both print and digital subscriptions in a unified environment. The results included increased recurring revenue, improved operational efficiencies, and enhanced customer satisfaction through a self-service portal. Berlingske Media is now positioned to respond effectively to market changes and competitive pressures.
