This case study details the challenges faced by Sandstone Care, a healthcare organization providing outpatient and inpatient services, in managing financial data using QuickBooks. As the organization expanded from 40 employees in 2017 to approximately 300 in 2022, the limitations of QuickBooks became apparent, particularly in its ability to handle complex accounting needs and provide insightful reporting. To address these issues, Sandstone partnered with Armanino to implement Sage Intacct’s healthcare financial management software. The implementation aimed to streamline workflow processes and enhance reporting capabilities. The results included improved visibility into key performance indicators, reduced manual tasks, and increased reporting frequency from quarterly to monthly. The case study highlights the significant benefits realized from the new system, including enhanced tracking of financial metrics and the ability to quickly compare budget-to-actual figures, which previously required extensive manual effort. Overall, the implementation of Sage Intacct has empowered Sandstone Care to support its growth more effectively.
