This case study details how an international airport addressed its cyber exposure risk within a complex IT/OT/IIoT environment. The airport's digital security team faced challenges due to limited security governance and insufficient processes for managing operational technology (OT) security risks. To overcome these challenges, the airport engaged Armis to implement the RAM2 (Risk Assessment, Monitoring, and Management) solution, which provided comprehensive asset visibility and risk management capabilities. The solution enabled the airport to create a detailed inventory of its digital assets, prioritize risks based on operational impact, and streamline security operations. Key outcomes included improved detection and response times, enhanced collaboration between security teams, and a centralized view of risks across the airport's infrastructure. The implementation of Armis Centrix™ for OT/IoT Security further maximized the effectiveness of existing security investments and equipped the airport to better manage cyber threats, thereby strengthening its overall cybersecurity posture.
