Brownfields Elementary School Facility Overview

This document is a guide detailing the new facility of Brownfields Elementary School located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After 65 years of service, the school has opened a modern building designed to accommodate approximately 550 students from Pre-K through 5th Grade. The facility aims to support the educational journey of young learners by providing vibrant and welcoming spaces for students, staff, and parents. A significant focus of the project was the incorporation of colorful dimensional acrylic graphics throughout the school, which not only enhance the atmosphere but also serve as effective wayfinding tools. The signage system reflects the school's mission of fostering creativity, exploration, and a sense of belonging. The collaboration between ASI, Domain Architecture, and CDI Solutions ensured that the signage program aligned with the school’s goals for both functionality and visual appeal, resulting in an inspiring educational environment.
