This document is a case study detailing the rebranding signage solution implemented for Danfoss following their acquisition of Sauer-Danfoss. The project required the redesign of both interior and exterior signage across multiple facilities within an eight-week timeframe. The case study outlines the design process, which included programming message schedules and installation, while ensuring compliance with local codes in cities such as Ames, IA, Freeport, IL, and St. Paul, MN. The signage products featured large internally illuminated monoliths, face-lit channel letters, and wayfinding monoliths, all designed to maintain brand consistency. The client aimed for a cohesive design across all sign products, utilizing curved faces and bold colors to enhance brand visibility. The project also addressed OSHA regulations for identification and wayfinding on the factory floor. Additional services included design-build, regulation compliance, and multi-location project management, showcasing the comprehensive approach taken to meet the client's branding needs.
