This document is a technical report detailing the comprehensive signage and wayfinding program developed for the Gaylord Pacific Hotel & Convention Center in Chula Vista, California. The project aimed to create a clear and intuitive guest experience while ensuring that the signage complemented the hotel's architectural design. ASI was engaged early in the project lifecycle to oversee the design and implementation of nearly 8,000 signs across various areas, including hotel facilities, convention spaces, and outdoor amenities. The signage system was designed to be legible, cohesive, and durable, accommodating both everyday guest circulation and high-volume event traffic. The report outlines the integration of life safety and code compliance into the signage design, as well as the incorporation of digital signage features such as event signage linked to the hotel booking system and interactive directories. The result is a sophisticated signage system that enhances navigation and the overall guest experience at the resort.
