Data Integration Automation for Michigan Education Association

This case study details the Michigan Education Association's (MEA) implementation of Astera's data management platform to automate data extraction and integration processes. Founded in 1852, MEA represents approximately 120,000 educators in Michigan and previously faced challenges in managing invoicing and member data due to manual processes. The association utilized various data sources, including flat files and CSV files, which contained millions of records. By adopting Astera, MEA was able to automate the extraction of data from these files, enabling overnight processing and ensuring that employees had access to report-ready data at the start of each workday. The case study outlines how Astera's platform facilitated the creation of a fully functional data warehouse, consolidating data and integrating it with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud.
