R Package Development and Validation Services

This document is a technical report detailing the services provided by Atorus in the development and validation of an R package for a client. The client faced challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to unfinished internal programming projects. Atorus was approached to complete the development of the R package, which is designed to convert SDTM and ADaM data into presentation-ready tables compliant with organizational standards. The report outlines the package validation process, which required flexibility to adapt to environmental changes. Additionally, Atorus assisted in centralizing the R environment within a validated platform, integrating it with existing SAS environments. The successful completion of the package development and validation led to enhancements that reduced execution times and minimized manual errors. Atorus also unified the validation process for both internally developed and open-source packages, integrating it into the client's CI/CD pipeline for automated testing in validated R environments.
