Automated Compliance Solution for CITIC Pacific Mining

This case study outlines the implementation of an automated compliance solution for CITIC Pacific Mining, part of the Sino Iron Project in Western Australia. The organization faced challenges in managing compliance documents for a diverse workforce, which included employees and contractors. Manual processes and disparate systems led to inefficiencies and safety risks. To address these issues, Atturra designed a compliance data application using the SAP Business Technology Platform, integrated with SAP SuccessFactors. The solution facilitates the automated collection, validation, and management of compliance documents, significantly reducing administrative effort and improving data accuracy. Key features include a self-service upload portal, automated expiry tracking, and role-based access controls to enhance data security. The outcomes achieved include an estimated savings of 200 days of administrative effort annually and approximately $300,000 in productivity benefits. The implementation has strengthened site safety and improved workforce readiness by ensuring that workers are compliant before mobilization.
