This case study documents the intelligent automation program implemented by Arab National Bank (ANB), which resulted in a significant productivity gain of 300%. Established in 1979, ANB is one of the largest banks in the Middle East, headquartered in Riyadh. The bank aimed to streamline its processes, enhance work quality, and reduce costs through automation. Over a period of 24 months, ANB automated 165 main processes, completing 4 million transactions and saving 169,000 hours. The migration to the Automation Success Platform was executed with zero downtime, allowing the bank to deploy over 100 bots across various business units including loan operations and regulatory reporting. The case study outlines specific automated processes such as account reconciliation and sanctions screening, which contributed to a 75% cost reduction. ANB plans to expand its automation efforts into additional areas like finance and retail operations in the future.
