This case study details Epiq's implementation of intelligent automation to enhance legal services and improve client outcomes. Epiq, recognized as the largest Alternative Legal Services Provider (ALSP), faced challenges with inefficient processes that hindered scalability. To address these issues, Epiq developed the Epiq Legal Service Management framework, which integrates automation technology to streamline operations. Since launching their automation program in June 2020, Epiq has successfully deployed 127 automations across various workflows, resulting in over 100,000 tasks completed and significant time savings. The automations have improved efficiency, reduced errors, and allowed employees to handle 42% more work. The case study also highlights the introduction of the Epiq Service Cloud and Epiq Access, which enhance client engagement and streamline workflows. The results demonstrate a 50-60% decrease in execution time and a 99.98% accuracy rate, contributing to higher employee satisfaction and improved client experiences.
