Case Study on FAR Chemical's LIMS Implementation

This case study details the implementation of the Matrix Gemini Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) by FAR Chemical, a specialty chemicals manufacturer based in Florida. The objective of adopting the LIMS was to enhance laboratory operational efficiency by transitioning from a paper-based approach to a digital solution. The previous method involved individual notebooks for recording test results, which led to delays in data compilation and product approval. The Matrix Gemini LIMS was selected for its configurability and the ability for FAR Chemical to perform in-house modifications.
