Implementation of Matrix Gemini LIMS for Roofing Materials Testing

This case study discusses the implementation of Matrix Gemini Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) at a major building materials company focused on roofing materials. The previous method of using proprietary worksheets for data entry was inefficient, leading to challenges in data extraction and reporting. The LIMS was selected for its configurability and dual web/desktop interface, allowing over 30 end users to access test results directly. The system was implemented on time and within budget, meeting the laboratory's evolving needs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
