The research involved 88 participants from 15 nationalities, simulating real-world meeting scenarios with both in-room and remote participants. Various technology setups were employed, including Jabra devices and competitor products, to assess their influence on meeting dynamics. The study utilized a combination of qualitative feedback and biopsychological measures, such as facial emotion recognition and eye-tracking, to evaluate participant engagement, trust, and overall meeting experience. Key findings indicate that technology significantly affects how participants perceive each other’s competence and engagement levels. The report outlines the challenges of hybrid meetings and emphasizes the importance of appropriate technology in enhancing collaboration and productivity. Additionally, it highlights cultural factors that influence communication and trust in meetings, providing insights into optimizing meeting environments for better outcomes.
