This case study outlines the technology integration solutions provided by AVI-SPL for McDonalds' headquarters in Chicago. The project aimed to enhance video conferencing, wayfinding, and digital signage capabilities. AVI-SPL collaborated with JLL to adhere to McDonalds' technical standards, equipping the boardroom with essential video conferencing tools, including Cisco hardware and Panasonic cameras, while updating the Crestron AV system control solutions. Additionally, AVI-SPL upgraded wayfinding solutions at Hamburger University by deploying interactive kiosks and displays, utilizing LG display hardware and Korbyt software. The integration of Korbyt software with Cisco DNA Spaces location services was also implemented to display building and occupancy data throughout the headquarters. The project, valued at $258k, resulted in a cost saving of $26k for McDonalds. The duration of the project was six months, completed in 2022.
