This case study details the challenges and solutions faced by Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) in managing its hybrid cloud infrastructure. AB InBev, the largest brewer globally, operates with over 80% of its infrastructure in the public cloud, utilizing multiple cloud service providers (CSPs) alongside on-premises systems. The company encountered significant visibility issues that hindered operational agility and integration during mergers and acquisitions, particularly due to overlapping CIDR ranges causing IP conflicts. To address these challenges, AB InBev implemented Aviatrix’s Multi-Region and Multicloud Connectivity solution, which provided resilient network connectivity and NAT capabilities to resolve IP conflicts. The case study outlines how this solution enhanced visibility, control, and security across their network, allowing for improved processes and resource management. Additionally, the implementation of CostIQ offered insights into cloud spending, facilitating better forecasting and internal cross-charging, ultimately leading to increased operational efficiency.
