This case study details the implementation of AVSystem's Cloud ACS by Enegan, an Italian multi-utility company, to standardize customer premise equipment (CPE) provisioning and remote management. As Enegan's subscriber base expanded, the existing manual device configuration process became increasingly inefficient, requiring individual setup and physical verification of approximately 15,000 devices. To address these challenges, Enegan sought a solution that would enhance operational control and reduce manual effort. Cloud ACS emerged as a suitable platform, meeting around 90% of the company's requirements without extensive customization. The platform allows for centralized administration, automated provisioning, and accurate device inventory management. The transition from manual to automated processes has saved significant time, minimized configuration errors, and ensured consistent device configurations across the fleet. The case study concludes that Cloud ACS has effectively streamlined Enegan's operations, enabling the company to scale its broadband services efficiently.
