Axiom 1.6T and 800G Optics Interoperability Validation Report

This document is an interoperability validation report focused on Axiom 1.6T and 800G OSFP optics tested across NVIDIA switching and server platforms. The validation confirmed stable link behavior, successful link establishment, and error-free bidirectional traffic under expected operating conditions. The testing was conducted in Axiom's U.S. labs and involved configurations including the NVIDIA Q3200 switch and CX-8 server NIC. Key objectives included verifying electrical and optical interoperability, successful link training, and lane mapping across mixed-speed endpoints. The results indicated that all DR4 lanes were successfully established with no packet loss or errors detected. The findings support the deployment of mixed-speed AI fabrics, enabling scalable migration paths for next-generation AI and HPC environments. The report concludes that Axiom optics are production-ready, demonstrating stability suitable for advanced customer deployments without the need for forced upgrades or OEM lock-in.
