IT Mentoring for Innovation at Scatolificio Ondulkart

This case study outlines the IT mentoring initiative undertaken by beanTech for Scatolificio Ondulkart, an Italian packaging company. The primary objective was to optimize IT processes by leveraging the Microsoft 365 suite. Key areas of focus included revising IT policies, redefining ICT service standards, enhancing IT security, and improving the use of Power BI for better collaboration. The proposed solution involved an initial analysis to assess IT and business needs, ongoing mentoring with a dedicated Service Manager, and on-the-job training to strengthen internal skills. As a result of this collaboration, Ondulkart modernized its IT policies, improved internal collaboration, and strengthened IT security. The IT team became more autonomous and prepared to meet future challenges. The mentoring program also facilitated improvements in information security, data governance, asset management, and helpdesk management, ensuring a proactive approach to IT system monitoring and management.
