Machine Performance Monitoring with Brainkin

This case study presents the implementation of the Brainkin® product by beanTech for Arko SpA, a company specializing in the production of MDF furniture components. Arko faced challenges with unpredictable stops on their calendering production line, which affected order execution and product quality. The objective was to evaluate the performance of the production line and monitor energy consumption effectively. The solution involved dividing the calendering line into three assets and integrating Brainkin® to monitor various performance metrics such as OEE, OOE, and energy performance. The system was designed to provide real-time data and reports, allowing for better decision-making and operational efficiency. Key features of Brainkin® include customizable configurations, integration with existing management systems, and remote accessibility. The collaboration between Arko and beanTech has led to ongoing developments to further enhance production monitoring capabilities.
