This case study details the collaboration between Wiltshire College & University Centre (WCUC) and Bechtle to modernize the Business School located on the Lackham campus. The primary objective was to align learning spaces with contemporary student needs while preserving the historical integrity of the 18th-century building. Bechtle employed a consultative approach, engaging WCUC's IT team and stakeholders throughout the design phase. The solution included advanced video collaboration technologies and adaptive boards to enhance the learning environment. Key features such as an unmanned reception and room booking panels were implemented to improve service and support. The project emphasized sustainability, with products designed for easy repair and recycling. The deployment phase involved personalized demos and close collaboration with the architectural firm to integrate technology without invasive mounting techniques. The outcome was a modern workspace that fosters collaboration and meets diverse accessibility needs, ultimately enhancing the educational experience for both staff and students.
