This technical report outlines the development of a PC- and EtherCAT-based control architecture for Zinu Shop, a fully automated grocery store operating 24/7. The project aimed to create an efficient unit that allows customers to access a variety of retail sizes while maintaining high performance. The control architecture is distributed across three cabinets, managing various functions such as product monitoring and automated rack control.
