ROVC Training Centre HVAC Technology Implementation

This document is a case study detailing the ROVC training centre, which focuses on the education of technical experts in the HVAC technology field. The centre, located in Ede, Netherlands, spans 7,100 m², with 3,000 m² dedicated to practical training. It features various modern air conditioning systems and is supported by Belimo through the provision of 679 field devices, including actuators and sensors. The training centre emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing trainees to work with both current and older HVAC systems. Additionally, Building Information Modelling (BIM) is utilized to enhance the training experience, enabling the trainees to interact with a virtual representation of the building and its systems. The collaboration between ROVC and Belimo aims to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in the HVAC sector through the implementation of a new learning module on measurement and control technology. This initiative seeks to ensure that technicians are equipped with the necessary skills to effectively implement energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
