This case study presents an analysis conducted by BERA.ai on the relationship between brand equity and business outcomes for a beverage brand. The study aimed to examine the causal link between brand equity and revenue performance. It highlights how brand equity associations directly influence key revenue drivers, such as customer base size and share of wallet. The findings indicate that the brand's equity contributes significantly to its revenue, accounting for 17.6% of total revenue, which translated to $185 million in gross sales in 2024. Additionally, the analysis reveals that a 1-point increase in brand equity is associated with an incremental revenue increase of $3.7 million. The study also identifies a growth opportunity, as the brand ranks in the 60th percentile for brand equity, suggesting potential for customer acquisition as awareness of its unique offerings grows.
